Filzbee at Warsaw Home & Contract 2025 – a mini gallery made of PET felt and a living definition of co-creation
Filzbee at Warsaw Home & Contract 2025 – a mini gallery made of PET felt and a living definition of co-creation
At the Warsaw Home & Contract 2025 trade fair, Filzbee – a manufacturer of PET felt acoustic systems – showcased how we collaborate with interior designers, architects and fit-out companies.
Our booth – a semi-open mini gallery made of PET felt – became a peaceful island of silence amid the noise of the trade fair.
The result?
The PET felt booth, which looked like a mini art gallery, became a peaceful island of silence amid the noise of the trade fair – and at the same time, clear proof of how we understand collaboration with designers, architects and fit-out companies.
Invitation to co-create
Our presence at the fair began with an invitation from the Association of Industrial Designers, with whom we collaborate.
The initial plan was simple: we were to manufacture and install the “Bumble Bee” – a project born from Filzbee’s collaboration with Mateusz Wróblewski.
We’ve been working with Mateusz for a long time and consider him part of our extended team – something we also talked about during our fair presentation on Designer × Producer collaboration.
So, the decision to participate in the Association’s exhibition was obvious.
We like challenges, so we had to go one step further…
Less than a month before the fair, we knew we wanted to go one step further.
Since we’re already present as a partner at the SPFP exhibition, let’s show what we can do. At Filzbee, we’ve specialized in fit-out projects for years, often under extreme time pressure, so we knew we could handle it!
So we decided to set up our own booth, located next to the association’s exhibition.
Short on time? Yes.
A major production challenge? Absolutely.
But it’s precisely in these conditions that you can best see how a true production partner works, not just a product supplier.

Concept: a mini art gallery and a moment of silence in the middle of the fair
The first sketch was created by the Filzbee team, and then – in collaboration with our designer, Serhiy Mytyakynskyy – we refined it into the final concept.
Our goal was to create:
a mini art gallery made of PET felt,
an oasis of silence in a noisy hall,
a pleasant, semi-enclosed interior conducive to conversation and relaxation.
The first sketch was created by the Filzbee team, and then – in collaboration with our designer, Serhiy Mytyakynskyy – we refined it into the final concept.
A week before the fair, Serhiy and I measured the hall space live, examining:
how to design the entrance,
where to position the central form,
how to enclose the space to truly make it quieter inside.
This is co-creation in practice: designer, space, material, and production – everything must work together.
A lamella face, a PET felt counter and a living room-like interior
The final result was a semi-enclosed structure, the focal point of which was a “face” formed from PET felt lamellas – an element that drew the eye from the aisle and kept visitors lingering.
The entrance to the stand was opened by a counter made entirely of our PET felt. It served as:
– a point of first contact,
– a functional base for samples and swatches,
– a natural boundary between the aisle and the interior.
Inside, we created a space more reminiscent of a small living room than a traditional stand. Soft armchairs encouraged relaxation, and a television displaying quotes from the “Filzbee Brand Manifesto” served to bring visitors closer to our values. Soft carpeting and specially selected lighting complemented the overall look.
We wanted visitors to feel like they were in a real acoustic space, not just a product display.

Over 100 sheets of PET felt, no glue required, and assembly like a puzzle
We constructed the entire stand from our own PET felt.
We used over 100 sheets for the project – each carefully designed, cut, and prepared so that:
– the stand was fully collapsible and compact,
– it was reusable,
– no glue was required for assembly.
The entire structure was designed to fit together like a puzzle – one piece fit another until the final form was achieved.
This isn’t just a “wow” effect for visitors.
It primarily demonstrates how we approach production for designers and fit-out companies:
modular,
responsible,
with logistics, disassembly, and reuse in mind.
As a manufacturer of PET felt acoustic systems for the office, commercial, and fit-out markets, we treat each stand as a fully-fledged interior design project.
The solutions we showcase at trade fairs are then implemented in real-world applications: offices, showrooms, shops, and public spaces.
Thanks to our own production in Poland, we can combine aesthetics, acoustics, and a responsible approach to materials – from design, through cutting and processing, to installation.
Our standard: we assemble everything first in the production hall
At Filzbee, we have a rule we adhere to for every major project:
Before anything is delivered to a client or to a trade show, we first assemble it in our hall.
This couldn’t be any different.
In our hall:
1. We disassembled all the components,
2. We dry-assembled the entire stand,
3. We checked every detail and joint,
4. Only then did we disassemble, pack, and ship everything to the trade show hall.
This made on-site assembly smooth and predictable. This is the role of a production partner – not only to execute but also to minimize project risk.

Co-creation: How we see our role for designers and fit-out companies
The Warsaw Home & Contract trade fair in Warsaw is a place where we can showcase not only finished products, but also the entire process of co-creation with designers and fit-out companies.
1/ The designer brings the idea, vision, and form language.
2/ Filzbee brings the materials, technology, production, and logistics experience.
3/ Together, we create specific spaces – office, commercial, and retail – that look good, sound good, and provide people with real comfort.
As a Polish production partner:
1/ We help select the right PET felt solutions,
2/ We consider assembly, transport, and repeatability,
3/ We ensure that the final result is a space that impresses – not only in visualizations, but above all in person.
