Why do we love PET felt?

Environmentally friendly, functional, flexible, acoustic properties, lightweight, multicolored, beautiful, soft to the touch, interior warming, insulating, versatile, beautiful, hard, flexible, durable.... we could go on listing for a long time!

PET felt is a material that, for good reason, is becoming increasingly popular and appreciated, both among architects and users of a space.

The material combines a balanced design with a large selection of colors, a soft texture and the ability to absorb and dampen sound.

These qualities can be seen perfectly in the various applications of felt - its soft texture wraps the walls, and it can be used to create spectacular ceilings, partitions, office partitions, light fixtures and furniture.

How does it affect the environment?

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) felt, was ingeniously made from recycled plastic bottles. With an almost infinite supply of reusable materials, PET felt fabrics are a significant step toward keeping single-use plastic bottles out of landfills and oceans. In addition, felt materials can be reused or recycled after use, greatly extending the life of this material beyond its initial use.

The role of PET felt in design

Felt is one of the oldest fabrics known to mankind and over the years has found applications in many fields, from fashion and furniture to architecture, interiors and much more.

The recent resurgence of interest in felt has brought innovations in its production processes. Thanks to the infinite range of colors and the flexible forms that can be obtained by working with it , the possibilities of designing with PET felt are far-reaching.

A unique edition of

acoustic performance

Providing excellent acoustic properties, PET felt can absorb and dampen sound by reducing reverberation. The sound-absorbing properties of PET felt can take many forms. From overhead installations with soft undulating curves to more customized formations installed in targeted areas, felt fabrics can create sculptural configurations designed to manage noise control.

PET felt, combined with our extensive machine park, in which we have machines specially designed for processing this very material, offers great possibilities for creating beautiful and functional interiors and products.

A trade show booth that surprises.

A quiet, surprising space.

Our goal was to create a stand that would be a finished product that could be used in the interior.

We wanted to create a visual statement of our company that would amaze and show that the slogans on our flyers are not just a marketing slogan, but the true face of what we create every day.

The project was meant to surprise, to show non-standard possibilities, in order to spark the imagination of visiting designers and show them that together we can make unique interiors, and acoustic solutions do not have to be boring at all.

We designed the booth ourselves.

Thanks to the machines we have, our experience and passion for creation, we were able to create a curved structure that perfectly imitated wooden beams. We decided to use the same structure on the ceiling, but opted for a more traditional, simple form of beams that met the beams on the wall.

As a backdrop, we used black, smooth felt boards that deepened the acoustic comfort of the resulting space and provided a backdrop to the light wood grain printed on our structure.

"Is it real wood?" the most common question at the fair.

Visitors to the tragi, could not resist touching the beams and discovered with disbelief that it was not wood.

We have proven that PET felt is an extremely versatile material, and can be printed and molded to mimic a range of shapes and traditional materials.

Although it looks like authentic wooden beams, the material is lightweight, durable and easy to integrate into any environment.

This versatility also opens the door to exploration and experimentation. Design ideas that were previously limited based on material or budget can be brought to life.

The detail matters.

We believe that every element, even the smallest, must be developed perfectly, with attention to detail. It is from small things that one can infer how a company approaches its implementations.

Especially for the fair we have prepared new pattern books, this time the traditional color cards have been replaced by a felt puzzle, so the colors can be freely combined, taken out and mixed.

In order to show some sample designs of wall panels, we created special PET felt hangers on which we mounted samples of the panels we realized.

We wanted the display to be custom-made, aesthetically pleasing, and at the same time it also had to show our creativity and attention to every detail.

Thumbnails with examples of ceiling baffles hung above the counter illustrated the possibilities and provided a starting point for conversations about the advantages of this type of solution in the space.
