The ORGATEC Cologne 2024 trade fair went down in history as one of the most important industry events, full of inspiration, news and meetings with representatives from the entire interior industry. For FilzBee, it was a unique opportunity to showcase our latest products and strengthen our position on the international market as an innovative manufacturer of PET felt acoustic systems. The spotlight is on our latest acoustic panels from the WIND collection, which were created in collaboration with young creative designers from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznan (UAP). The WIND project is the result of intensive research and development, carried out jointly with the Institute for the Implementation of Ideas at UAP. These lightweight, thermoformed panels of varying corrugation density offer endless compositional possibilities, allowing interior architects and designers to create unique arrangements that respond to the latest trends in office and commercial spaces. The WIND collection, available in a wide range of colors, delighted visitors who are looking for original and functional solutions for the creation of modern interiors. FilzBee’s booth, designed by Michal Filipiak, attracted considerable interest from both trade media and professionals visiting the fair. The booth space was unique – sensory, full of acoustic tranquility, thanks to the use of PET felt as the dominant material. The enclosed booth space, devoid of outside noise, allowed the full experience of the properties of our products. This innovative approach to exhibition space design was also symbolic of our mission – to create spaces that promote comfort and concentration.

Partnerships that Create Value

The ORGATEC fair is also a time for strengthening and establishing partnerships. Thanks to our collaboration with the University of Arts in Poznan, we had the opportunity to combine innovation with academic expertise, which translated into new insights into the possibilities of PET felt. Projects such as the WIND panels allow us to emphasize the importance of a multidisciplinary approach that combines aesthetics with functionality and technology. During the fair, we were visited by key business partners, architects and investors who see added value in our products and a sustainable approach to interior acoustics. We made new contacts and started discussions about future projects that will allow us to further develop and expand in international markets.
